INVOCATION
PP Mike Kelly remarked: God of all creation, you have blessed us with the Rotary. We are called to be neighbors, friends, leaders and generally problem solvers in our community. Help us to remember to be thankful and to realize that even the smallest and least significant things that we do often are miracles for others around us. Help us to be committed and enthusiastic as we work, being happy and cheerful. May we realize and appreciate the fact that the “miracles” we perform are much appreciated.

“NOT IF, BUT WHEN”
Mary Beth Daigneault, administrator at St Clare’s nursing care facility in Newport, warned about the possibility we all face of catastrophe, such as a fall, pneumonia, or other problem. She cautioned Rotarians to have conversations with their adult children now about “not if, but when.”
She has been caring for elders since 1995. In 2011 she received Providence Business News’ “Women in Business” award and in 2013 and 2014 leadership awards from the American College of Health Care Administrators.
