As we have for the past several years, our club is preparing to donate classroom supplies to our partners at Kizirian Elementary School. This School Supplies Project makes a tangible difference to children’s classroom experiences.
$50 supplies a classroom box and costs less than a dinner out -- and there are 32 classrooms at Kizirian. Of course, donations of any size are welcome!
We will give each classroom a box of supplies such as pencils, crayons, markers, and glue sticks in September. The teachers are not budgeted enough to last the year, and the supplies are very expensive at the retail level. We buy in bulk, sort into classroom boxes, label them as a Rotary donation, and bring them to the school. By donating, you are making learning easier for these teachers and students.
