As our world begins getting back to normal, the Rotary Club of Providence is offering lots of opportunities for members to engage in community service and enjoy the company of friends. (If you're not a member, but you see something that interests you here, why not get in touch and talk about becoming a Rotarian?)

The Providence Rotary Good Works Committee held its first hands-on service project of the year, assembling classroom supplies for teachers and students at our partner school, Harry Kizirian Elementary. Got an idea for a service project, or just want to help? Contact Mary Brewster or Karen Mueller.

Each year (except last year of course) we get a group together for a Providence Bruins game at the Dunk. This year we'll be adding a PC Friars game. Members and friends are welcome, as are donations that let us bring along a bunch of inner city kids on a fun outing. Contact Anthony Landi to get involved.

Rotary After Dark returned on August 18 with a visit to the downtown Providence pedestrian bridge. The next Rotary After Dark event is set for Thursday, September 23 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the TROOPTOP at the WaterFire Arts Center at 475 Valley Street, Providence. Plenty of parking. Enjoy a drink from the Roof Top bar! Look for more events through the year, and plan to bring a friend who might be interested in joining the club. Got an idea for a fun location? Contact Liz Messier.
