GOOD NIGHT LIGHTS:
BRINGING PATIENTS AND COMMUNITY TOGETHER
Steve Brosnihan, Resident Cartoonist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, spoke on the "Magic Minute Good Night Lights" program that he instituted and which has since received worldwide recognition.

The program began in 2010 when Steve wanted to say good night to a patient who was being discharged so he told the boy to look out his window toward Davol Square at 8:30 PM and he would flash his bike light to him. He then expanded this idea to the level that now 40 entities flash their lights towards the Hasbro windows every evening to say good night to all the children - included are many first responders and various businesses and institutions. The idea is now being copied around the country.
