Greeter: Emily Bernstein
Inspiration
Sam New gave this inspiration derived from the life of Orvil Biddle, WW2 vet, from his diary from 1943. Orvil served in three theatres of action during the war and was rewarded for putting himself in harms way by surviving an explosion that would have killed him had he not volunteered to take a colleague’s place during the Normandy invasion.
