INSPIRATION
PP Steve Hug noted that it's been 103 years since ratification of the 19th Amendment to the US Constitution giving women the right to vote, and 68 years after that for Rotary to admit women.

Congratulations on our club's 112th anniversary came in a nice email from Suren Poruri, District 3150 Global Grant Chairman in India.
Kris offered Get Well wishes to Ralph Barlow and Walter Adamowicz.
Walter joined Barry Fain and P J Fox in attending the meeting on Zoom.
Kris presented Walter Cotter with a Paul Harris Fellow Award for his years of service as a trustee of the Providence Rotary Charities Foundation.
Kris reminded members to scan the parking app and select duration of four hours when parking at the Marriott.

HAPPY BUCKS
- Walt Adamowicz was $5 happy for recovering from a fall and Covid.
- Barry Fain was $5 happy for getting out of the hospital without an overnight stay and having his fever disappear under the care of his wife the doctor.
- Cap Willey had a warning about thieves being able to start and steal cars if the keys are left too close to where they're parked.
- AnthonyHollingshead congratulated
George Babcock and thanked Anna Knes for being a great Rotarian.
- Sharon Garland thanked Liz Messier for her long service as a newsletter reporter.
- Jim Gilcreast thanked members for their solicitude surrounding his respiratory difficulties.
- Troylynda Williams was very happy about completing a four-year bachelors degree in two years.
CLUB ASSEMBLY
Pres. Kris led a review of club activities for the coming year – some continuing from past years and others proposed as new for this year – and asked for members to step up and volunteer their time and talents to make it all happen.
- Legends for Literacy Gala to benefit the Jane Babcock Childhood Literacy Initiative. Sponsorship chair Barry Fain announced to a loud round of applause that George Babcock has accepted the position of Honorary Chair.
- Newsletter reporters. Sharon Garland is looking for two volunteer writers to divide up the work so no one has to do it more than once a month. We're not taking formal minutes – we're giving a quick recap to keep members up to date.
- Inspiration. Cap Willey's goal is to get all members involved, giving maybe two or three inspirations a year. Watch for his emails and respond positively.
- Program. That's our roster of guest speakers and Kris distributed a form asking what kind of speakers we'd like to hear from.
- Membership. Chair Anthony Hollingshead is seeking volunteers interested in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and those with contacts at larger corporations.
- Public Image. Art Norwalk welcomes volunteers to help with the club's presence on the web and in social media.
- Community. Kris is looking for new ideas for hands-on charitable projects.
- New generations. Kris reported that contact has been renewed with Johnson & Wales University and volunteers are needed to work with a new Rotaract club at the school.
- New possibilities. Joint activities with other clubs, additional social activities and alternate time meetings are under consideration.
