Kris David announced that a Polio outbreak had occurred in Nigeria,so the Rotary Polio eradication efforts must be reinvigorated in that area.
President Anthony Hollingshead recently visited Rotary International Headquarters near Chicago where he met RI President John Germ in the flesh and Rotary founder Paul Harris in bronze.
Christy Clausen introduced officers and members of the Interact Club and gave a report on Club service projects and plans for future activities.

PAWSOX PRESIDENT WORKS
TO REBUILD RELATIONSHIPS
Introduced by Pete Brock, Dr. Charles Steinberg, president of the Pawtucket Red Sox, spoke of his 40 year career in Major League Baseball and of his current activities with the Pawsox.
Dr. Steinberg began his career in Baltimore with Larry Lucchino in implementing the Camden Yards Stadium Project for the Baltimore Orioles. He continued his executive career with the San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers and Boston Red Sox. He continues to be a Senior Advisor to the Boston Red Sox and is assisting retired Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig with his memoirs.
He described the failed efforts of the Pawsox to build a new stadium in Providence and of current efforts to cultivate good will of the Pawsox fans to make the franchise successful at McCoy Stadium.
