INSPIRATION
Jane Kratsch offered an inspiration on aging as she prepared to celebrate her birthday this week. She gave the group a clue to her age when she sang from the Beatles, “will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I’m 64??” She looks forward to many more years serving the community with the best folks she knows – that would be her friends in Rotary.

ANNOUNCEMENTS, Etc.
President Don invited members  to another celebration: on June 18, Art Norwalk will be installed as the club president, along with officers and board members.

Trish Cirelli reported that all the peanut butter donated by club members has been distributed. Her most recent delivery was to the food pantry at St. Edwards’s Church in Providence.

Bob Murphy reported on the great day outdoors with the students of San Miguel. The weather cooperated for fishing, a cookout and distribution of fishing rods to the 20 boys who attended.

PP Paul Segal, chair of the Providence Rotary Charities Foundation board of directors, thanked the members for their generous support of this year’s annual fund appeal, “gold bowls” and special events.
