INSPIRATION
Mike Kelly said he and Kathy were honored to host a St. Patrick’s Day celebration for their Rotary family and to honor their Irish ancestors. “We have had much joy and success, but never forget the torturous journey!” We are Irish!
Club presidents past, present and future – John McGinn, Barbara Harris, Jan Feyler, Anthony Hollingshead, Mike Kelly, Don Saracen and Art Norwalk -- gathered around the club's 107th Birthday cake.
Rev. Ralph Barlow shared the words of his favorite Irish song, “When Irish eyes are smiling.” And Christy Clausen left no doubt of her heritage.

Monday, April 16, is our Million Dollar Meal, to be held at the Johnson & Wales University Harbor View Building, 1150 Narragansett Blvd., Cranston. For those with long memories, this is the former Colonial Hilton Motor Inn; it is NOT located at the Harborside Campus. There’s lots of parking right at the door.

Pete Brock and many others offered happy bucks in honor of the Mike and Kathy Kelly’s generous and gracious St. Patrick’s Day celebration with an open bar and Irish music from Sean Connell Music.
Art Norwalk for the very interesting President-Elect Training Seminar (PETS) he attended. He also shared the challenge the Providence club is facing: We are not the largest club in District 7950 any longer – Warwick has surpassed us by three members!
Allan Bell was happy to visit the Club. He’s a Providence native who is moving back to Rhode Island. He is the grandson of Andrew Bell of Bell Funeral Home in Providence.
Maxine Cohen is very happy that her husband, Avram, didn’t require heart surgery!
Anthony Hollingshead for the good work of first responders and utility workers in the recent Nor’easters.
Mary Brewster for the book her father is writing, including the story of her grandfather, a second-generation Irish immigrant who grew up in the Pennsylvania lumbering camps, completed high school after serving in World War I, and then ended up going to Harvard Law School. What a country!
