Announcements
President Kris thanked Liz Messier and Holly Applegate for the successful Thursday night event at the Barker Playhouse. It was well represented by Providence Rotary members.
Michael Durant announced a new service project “Wreaths Across America”. The event honors vets by placing wreaths at the graves of veterans in a respectable, and dignified manner. The event is one that has spread around the country, and all are welcome to take part. Locally, the event will take place at the RI Veterans cemetery on Dec 16th at 11:45 at 301 South County Trail in Exeter.
Happy Bucks
Bob Murphy’s happy bucks for having the San Miquel students and staff at our annual lunch was overwhelmed with support from the students at San Miguel School. In total, between Rotarians and Students 32 “happy” events were registered with considerable polarizing focus on Army-Navy allegiances and delivered in good spirits
Program

John Wolf Executive Director of San Miguel School thanked Rotarians for their continued support. He introduced a representative of the school who gave his thanks and thoughts on the event.
Carol Soltys, Academic Dean, presented the Boys Poetry group of San Miguel School for a moving 6 minute poem recited by the 13 member group, wonderfully orated, and executed, reciting a poem by Maya Angelo.

Special Guest
SANTA presented each student with a gift and a one-on-one moment with the jolly old man.
