I wanted to reach out and let everyone know that I’m glad we decided not to hold our usual Tuesday meeting this past week.

 

I was at the Marriott on Thursday for another event, and they were still digging out from the recent weather. It looks like our decision worked out for the best, keeping everyone safe and comfortable.

 

Thank you for understanding and for prioritizing safety. I am looking forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday February 3, 2026 for an exciting meeting about the Solar project in Nepal, a global grant on which we participated.

And we are holding our “Tent Suppers” to continue to raise money for that effort in February and March.

We also have an initiative to purchase product from the women, whom we are helping in the regions, and you can make a difference to them directly by buying gifts for your loved ones.  We are partnering with Her Future Coalition, which is a very lean organization to sell the products created by the women extracted from the "Trafficking Industry."  Eighty percent of the purchase price goes to them, ~20% comes back to our club, which we should use to continue our support of those women in addition to our Tent Suppers revenue.
