Narragansett Council, Scouting America serves over 5,000 youth ages 5-17 annually in Southeastern New England. Their Scouts learn about character, leadership, community service, citizenship, and the great outdoors. Lifelong memories are made at legacy camping properties around Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts, including the famed Camp Yawgoog (this year marked 116 seasons). Ryan Hagerman is the Northwest District Executive and supports Narragansett's Cub Scout Packs, Scouts BSA (formerly Boy Scout) Troops, and Exploring Posts in Providence County and the Blackstone River Valley. He also advises the National Youth Leadership Training program and the Jewish Committee on Scouting. Ryan is an Eagle Scout and graduate of Quinnipiac University in Connecticut. He recently joined the New England cohort of the ADL's Glass Leadership Institute and is a member of the Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce.
