134 Collaborative
Karen Gager, MSW, LICSW. has been the Executive Director of 134 Collaborative for 12 years. She has led the organization in creating a collaborative space for small nonprofit programs & services and engaging funds to renovate & update an historic, multi-use church building in the heart of downtown Providence where 134 Collaborative resides. Karen has worked in the fields of social services and education for over thirty years. Through her work, she has contributed to the fields of child & adult mental health, youth mentoring, gender specific programming and shared spaces/shared services collaboration. She was awarded a Women of Achievement Award in Program Development for “Improving the Lives of Children & Youth” by the YWCA of Rhode Island in 2007. Karen is a licensed clinical social worker and also works in the Counseling Center at Jewish Collaborative Services in Providence.
