RI Blood Bank

Glenn Halvarson has been an enthusiastic results-driven blood donor recruitment professional with 27+ years’ experience. He is motivated by the patients in our community whose lives are saved through educating and recruiting blood donors. Glenn is a recipient of the Rhode Island Blood Center’s (RIBC) employee of the year award, he has been published in The Journal of the American Association of Blood Banks – Transfusion publication, and developed the RIBC Elementary and Middle School program with America’s Blood Centers, My Blood, Your Blood program.
Glenn works out of our Providence office where they house an incredible donor room and a state of the art testing laboratory. In Glenn’s free time, he enjoys the outdoors, listening to music, and spending time with family.
