Sexual Assault Awareness

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, and we are pleased to welcome as our speaker Peg Langhammer, the executive director of Day One, Rhode Island's sexual assault and trauma resource center, as well as the state's sexual assault coalition.

For 40 years, Peg's work has included being at the forefront of introducing legislation and developing statewide protocols (human trafficking, child pornography, adult sexual assault) to build better response systems for Rhode Islanders who have been affected by or are at risk for being victimized by sexual violence.
