Providence School System, Improvement and Innovation

Craig Creller is the proud Chief of School Improvement & Innovation for Providence Public Schools. Well into his third year in Providence, Craig brings a wealth of experience in both education and change management to this position:   As a former Superintendent, Asst. Superintendent, Chief Academic Officer, Principal, STEM leader and “teacher of the year”, he understands the hard work and planning that is needed to improve.   Craig believes in people and collaboration, but above all – Students first!  Craig works closely with nearly all parts of the Providence organization, both internally and externally, to bring life to the Turnaround Action Plan (TAP).  In addition to his title, he helps supervise Data and Assessment, Grant writing, and Research; and he directly supervises several schools as a “Transformation Officer”.
