It is times like these that we all work together to create a better world.
I saw a young woman shoveling out her car, so that she could make a student teacher appointment on Monday for Kindergarten children. She is a RISD grad student earning a degree in art education.
I almost passed up the opportunity to help, but then thought of how a Rotarian would think and do.
So, I went down and helped her clear a mountain of snow behind her car.
It was a wonderful experience to help a 23 year old get her space cleared.
This historic snow storm has given all of us an opportunity to be patient and helpful.
Next Meeting
Liz Messier, President Elect, will be conducting the next two meetings.
We have three new Rotarians being inducted on March 10th.
I hope you all participate, and I look forward to seeing everyone on St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) for a served luncheon.
