This annual event is in support of Rotary Club of Providence’s George W. Babcock Childhood Literacy Initiative. This special event begins with a Reception at 6 pm with an opportunity to meet our Literary and athletic Legends as well as friends and guests of Rotarians.
There will be two special Children’s Illustrators creating their art live during the reception. Their works will be auctioned off at our dinner. Our dinner will begin at 7 pm. You will have legend(s) at your table with time to talk with them and make a relationship.
This year we will include a special Legends for Literacy Panel with an author, athlete, and educator (Our Kaplan Award Winner) discussing what it takes to make literacy happen.
Of course there will be a Wine Pull, Live Auction, and Count Down for Literacy.
