Traveling Vietnam Memorial headed to Rhode Island

The American Veteran Traveling Tribute will be on display at Rocky Point State Park from Sept. 8-10.

The display is an 80% scale version of the Vietnam Wall Memorial in Washington, and it spans over 300 feet. 

"The display will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Paris Peace Accord, which effectively ended the decade long war and restored peace to Vietnam."

The weekend long display will be hosted by the Gaspee Day Committee, the City of Warwick, Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, and RI 250.
