Impacts of pesticides to nesting and migrating birds

Charles Clarkson, PhD is director of Avian Research at tje Audobon Society of Rhode Island. Born in central Virginia, Dr. Clarkson began his love of nature and birds. Dr. Clarkson earned an undergraduate degree in Environmental Sciences at Mary Washington College, a master’s degree in biology from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Doctorate degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Virginia. He has received numerous awards for his research in the field of ornithology.He began teaching at Salve Regina and Roger Williams University in 2011.In 2022, he transitioned into his new position at the Audobon Society of Rhode Island.
