A special evening for a special cause
Join the Providence Rotary Club and legends from the worlds of sports, entertainment and more at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, October, 26, 2021 for a festive evening to celebrate and support the cause of literacy education in the Providence Public Schools. A legend will be seated at each table to share stories and answer questions.
A special guest will be Malcolm Mitchell, once a wide receiver for the New England Patriots and now a literacy advocate and children's book author. Malcolm received the first Richard Kaplan literacy award in honor of a devoted Rotarian two years ago (photo, left).
We'll gather at the Providence Marriott Downtown, 1 Orms St., for a reception and dinner followed by a live auction offering special items and experiences. Click here to purchase tickets.
We welcome support from individuals and organizations who share our commitment to the cause of literacy through generous sponsorship of Legends for Literacy. Click here for sponsorship opportunities -- see how many tickets are included at each level.
